DOT Work Causes Merritt Parkway Road Closures In New Canaan

NEW CANANN, Conn. – Nighttime closure of the Southbound on/off ramps, Exit 31 to 35 on the Merritt Parkway (Route 15) in Stamford and New Canaan will take place from Monday to Thursday for paving, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

The overall project consists of safety improvements, resurfacing, enhancements and bridge improvements on the Merritt Parkway.

Lane closure information:

Merritt Parkway Southbound Exit 35 on and off ramps will be closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Monday. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic.

Merritt Parkway Southbound Exit 34 on and off ramps will be closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Wednesday. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic.

Merritt Parkway Southbound Exit 33 on and off ramps will be closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Thursday. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic.
