Detour: Frogtown Road In New Canaan Reopens After Emergency Pipe Repair

UPDATE: Frogtown Road is now open, thanks to the hard work of the town Highway Department, the New Canaan Police Department said via Twitter. The road reopened at about 4:40 p.m. Monday.

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — Due to an emergency pipe repair, Frogtown Road will be closed to through traffic on Monday, New Canaan Chief of Police Leon Krolikowski announced.

Local traffic coming in from Weed Street can access up to 436 Frogtown.

Local traffic coming in from Ponus Ridge Road can access up to Wells Lane.

This closure is expected to last throughout Monday, and motorists should avoid this area, Krolikowski said.
