NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Curt William Gehnrich, 49, of New Canaan, died Thursday, July 8. Born on Dec. 7, 1961, he was chief operating officer of Fresh Meadow Services and a member of the Old Faithful Fire Company and the New Canaan Field Club. Curt loved fishing and skiing and spending time with his daughters. Survivors, in addition to his mother, Margaret Carroll Gehnrich of Jericho, N.Y., are his wife, Ann Socci Gehnrich of New Canaan; four daughters, Jennifer Gaffney of Stamford and Caroline, Elizabeth and Christina Gehnrich of New Canaan; two brothers, Charles Gehnrich of Syosset, N.Y., and George Gehnrich of Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y., and a sister, Marti Timmons of York, Maine. A Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Aloysius Church, Cherry Street, New Canaan. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St., New Canaan. For online condolences, visit www.hoytfuneralhome.com.
