NEW CANAAN, Conn. - Charlotte Cassidy Cook, 87, a resident of New Canaan for over 36 years, died July 11 in Stamford Hospital. Born in East Boston, Mass., on May 5, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Robert V. and Ann Withers Cassidy.
Charlotte was the beloved wife of Robert Parker Cook. In addition to her husband, Charlotte is survived by two daughters, Alison Cook Downs and her husband, Michael, of Solana Beach, Calif., and Leslie Cook Weaver and her husband, John, of Lafayette, Calif. She is also survived by her four grandsons, Miles Stenehjem, Garrett Stenehjem, Kyle Weaver and Ian Weaver. A private funeral service is being held at the Hoyt Funeral Home in New Canaan with Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Visit the Hoyt Funeral Home website to offer online condolences.
