NEW CANAAN, Conn. Police were looking for a car that was apparently stolen from a Metro-North Railroad parking lot.
A Stamford man parked a gray 2005 Saab 93 in a lot near the Talmadge Hill train station on the morning of Nov. 29 but did not retrieve it that night, police said. When the mans wife drove him to the station the next morning, they could not locate the car. Police checked with local wreckers and found that the car had not been towed or impounded.

Police were investigating 39 fraudulent credit card charges placed on a Frogtown Road mans account. Police said the man contacted his credit card company to inquire about nearly $1,200 in charges placed to FedEx on his account between Oct. 12 and Nov. 23.
Police were investigating the theft of an iPod music player from a New Canaan High School student. Police said that when the 14-year-old boy arrived home last Friday he discovered that his 32-gig iPod was not in his backpack. The boy told police he had placed it in his bag earlier in the day before going to a sports practice and leaving the bag in a hallway near a weight room. The iPod is valued at $300.
