AT&T Tests Cellphone Tower Spot Tops New Canaan News

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — AT&T's test of a possible cellphone tower location Thursday led New Canaan’s news for the week. Here is a look at what else happened.

On Monday The Daily Voice told you about a New Canaan woman who reported $200,000 worth of jewelry missing from her home.
New Canaan's Jessica Mannetti was hired by Sacred Heart University to be the head coach of the women's basketball team on Tuesday.
Former New Canaan High School star athlete Dennis Paglialunga was inducted into the Fairfield County Sports Hall of Fame on Wednesday. After high school, he played baseball at the University of New Haven.
On Thursday, AT&T floated balloons at the New Canaan Transfer Station to see whether it would work as a location for a cellphone tower.
New Canaan Police swore in Thomas Callinan as a probationary officer Thursday. He will start at the Police Academy next week and should graduate in December.
