NEW CANAAN, Conn. Water service in New Canaan, Darien and Stamford returned to normal Thursday, a day after Aquarion warned customers in the three towns about discolored water.
Water demand was back to normal levels and, other than a few isolated calls, water was running clear, Aquarion spokesman Peter Fazekas said Thursday afternoon. The water company told customers on Wednesday that water might be discolored and pressure might be low due to high demand.
Fazekas said customers who still have discolored water should contact Aquarions customer service office at 203-445-7310.
