WWII Veteran Shares Memories At Waveny Veterans Day Event In New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Waveny LifeCare Network celebrated the nation’s heroes with a special Veterans Day event on Main Street at The Village at Waveny in New Canaan.

Village resident and decorated veteran Anthony Moody shared his personal account of the Battle of the Bulge in World War II, and also reflected on his service medals and awards with the group.

Serving the “Greatest Generation,” nearly 30 of Waveny’s residents and Adult Day Participants are veterans who collectively served in each branch of the military.

The audience thanked each vet personally for their service and courage on behalf of the nation and its people.
