New Canaan Outback Sets Hoops Event For Tuesday

NEW CANAAN, CONN. — The Outback in New Canaan set Tuesday as the date for its 17th annual HOOPS event.

The Harlem Rockets will take on faculty from the New Canaan Public Schools at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

The faculty team will be made up of members from all three local elementary schools and Saxe Middle School.

The New Canaan High School gymnasium will host the event, as a large crowd of elementary kids, middle school students, teens, grandparents and parents is expected. More than 1,000 spectators attended last year's game.

Tickets are available online at www.newcanaanoutback.org or in person at Outback behind Town Hall. Prices range from $15 per person to $50 for a family of four.
