'Luminaries' Performance Lights Up New Canaan Church, Ushers In Holidays

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 5 Oenoke Ridge, has been holding a series of activities to celebrate the holidays.

St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in New Canaan is participating in several holiday events, including a children's presentation of “A Legend of the Luminaries.”

The first event featured the children of the church, who performed a dramatic musical presentation of “A Legend of the Luminaries” during the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Dec. 13.

The next events will be a holiday decorating party on Sunday, Dec. 20, followed by Christmas Eve caroling with the town of New Canaan on God’s Acre on Thursday, Dec. 24, at 7:30 p.m.
