Great Dane Pup Charms at New Canaan Town Hall

NEW CANAAN, Conn. – Did your dog its license? Gwen Vandegraaf did.

A nice Thursday afternoon was an opportune time for Gwen, 17, to take her new best friend, Lulu, a shiny black Great Dane puppy, to New Canaan Town Hall to be properly licensed by Town Clerk Claudia Weber. The license will allow Gwen to take Lulu to Spencer’s Run, the town’s dog park inside Waveny Park.

Lulu charmed town employees and visitors alike, all while getting excited upon seeing a camera pointed at her. 

Although the town’s Make Your Beagle Legal campaign ended last month, Weber said it’s not too late for dog owners to bring their pets by for licenses. For more information about registering your pet, contact the New Canaan town clerk’s office at 203-594-3070.
