The Dominican Sisters Family Health Service (DSFHS) honored Domino during its 2015 Hope Gala fundraiser at the Trump National Golf Club, in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.
The DSFHS is a visiting nurse service which provides home healthcare. The award was established to honor Mary Walsh, who founded the Dominican Sisters of the Sick Poor.
“This year’s gala was our most successful fundraiser to date,” said Mary Zagajeski, president and chief executive officer of Dominican Sisters Family Health Service. “Mr. Domino has done wonderful things to support our community and we were happy to acknowledge him for his philanthropic contributions.”
Domino is the managing director of Associated Benefit Consultants, based in Rye Brook. He is on the executive committee of the Association of Advanced Life Underwriting and was its immediate past president. Effective this January, he will join the board of trustees of The American College.
Domino is a director of Malta House (Hope for Life) in Norwalk, and also recently completed two terms as chairman of the board of trustees of Regis High School in New York City.
The work of DSFHS dates to 1879, when Mary Walsh and a group of women living and working on New York City’s West Side worked to help immigrant mothers care for ill family members.
