CNBC anchor Michelle Caruso-Cabrera will discuss her new book, "You Know I'm Right: More Prosperity, Less Government," at 5 p.m. Sunday at the New Canaan Library. Elm Street Books, a co-sponsor of her appearance, will have copies of the book available for signing.
In her book, Caruso-Cabrera says the United States has gotten away from its economic foundations of fiscal conservative, limited government and personal accountability. The author presents a modern, young approach to correcting the economic and social woes of the nation.
Caruso-Cabrera is an award-winning financial journalist and anchor of CNBC's popular "Power Lunch." She has covered the recent global financial crisis and has interviewed a variety of people, including Carlos Slim, one of the richest men in the world, and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. She also reports for "NBC Nightly News" and Telemundo.
Admission is free, but reservations are recommended by calling 203-594-5040 or by email. Or call Elm Street Books at 203-966-4545 to register and preorder a book.
