NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Ready for some "straight talk" on mental health?
Silver Hill Hospital is partnering with HAN Network to educate the public about the many topics on mental illness and addiction with a new magazine format, lifestyle show that brings the conversation into the family rooms of households throughout Connecticut.
"Straight Talk with Tracey," debuts Thursday, May 11 at 12 p.m. and airs at noon on the second Thursday of every month on the HAN Network.
Host Tracey Masella, LCSW has worked at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan for five years and is intensively trained in DBT and has additional training in DBT-S for substance use disorder treatment. She has worked with the dual diagnosis adult population and most recently serves as the Program Manager for the Adolescent Transitional Living Program.
Masella will be joined on the first show by child/adolescent psychiatrist Dr. Aaron Krasner to discuss the developmental stage of adolescence.
The second show, “Rollercoasters and Ferris Wheels – Communicating with Your Teen”, airs Thursday, June 8, again with. Dr. Krasner.
