The piece features the beauty of New Canaan's Grace Farms 80-acre site that was recently preserved.

Johnson's 360-degree acrylic drawing on glass is intended to depict the evolutionary history of the local environment with an eye towards its potential future.

The work is comprised of an alphabet of marks, which reference subatomic decay patterns — pathways made by the conversion of microscopic particles as they move through space and time.

The artwork's appearance changes as the natural light transitions from day to night, allowing the viewer a different image at all times. The drawing's constantly changing appearance is meant to represent the ever-changing dynamics of life.
