The lectures, which are free to the public, cover a variety of health topics. Seminars are held in the Williams room at the New Canaan YMCA, according to a press release. Refreshments will be served during the lectures and space is limited to 30 participants per seminar. Advance registration for classes is required by calling the Stamford Hospital Call Center at 1-877-233-WELL (9355), according to the release.

- Wednesday, October 9, 6:30-8:00 PM: "Spinal Pain in the Athlete," Join Dr. Rudolph F. Taddonio, Division Director of Orthopedic Surgery at Stamford Hospital's Orthopedic and Spine Institute as he discusses spinal issues specific to the athlete.
- Thursday, October 24,1:15-2:30 PM: "Breast Health through the Ages," Dr. Helen Pass and Dr. David Gruen are Co-Directors of the Women's Breast Center at Stamford Hospital. Dr. Pass is the Director of the Division of Breast Surgery, and Dr. Gruen is the Director of Women's Imaging. Together they will discuss the latest information on maintaining proper breast health throughout your life.
- Wednesday, November 13, 6:30-8:00 PM: "Digestive Health and Illness," gastroenterologist Dr. Kahn will cover the various topics regarding Digestive health and the different illnesses involving the Digestive system.
- Thursday, November 21, 1:15-2:30 PM: "Common Injuries in the Athlete," Dr. Edward Feliciano is an expert in the area of Orthopedic Medicine and will discuss, awareness, prevention, and treatment of common injuries in athletes.
- Wednesday, December 11, 6:30-8:00 PM: "Food Allergies and You," Dr. Paul Lindner is a specialist in the field of Allergies and Immunology and is the Director of the Allergy and Asthma Center of Stamford. He is listed in New York Magazine's annual list of best doctors in the New York Metro Region and is also featured in Connecticut Magazine's survey of the best doctors in Connecticut. Dr. Linder will discuss the relevant and important topic of food allergies, what we need to know, and how to manage them.
- Thursday, December 19, 1:15-2:30 PM: "Varicose Veins and Leg Pain," Vascular Surgeons Dr. Timothy Manoni, Dr. Stephen Bauer, Dr. Johnathan Bowman will discuss the latest information on arterial and venous disorders and therapies.
