The company's first three titles in eBook format are "Rivers of Gold," "The Big Dogs" and "Saint Underground," which focuses on global organized crime, political corruption and financial chicanery. Paperback and Audiobook versions of the three books go on sale Nov. 15.
"After my experiences with the publishing industry, I decided the only way to achieve real success with my books was to try a new direction,” Dunn said. “While the process has been intense, our early results have been excellent. We’ve had a strong response to our initial galley mailings, in the form of praise from bestselling authors, as well as registered interest from major media outlets.
“I want Dunn Books to provide myself and other authors with a more proactive, streamlined publishing organization,” Dunn said. New authors will be published in 2016, he said.
Dunn is currently working on his fourth novel in the series, "The Unfathomable Deep," as well as another novel, "Osiris," with a co-writer, Eric Anderson.
Dunn also redesigned and launched the website, Dunnbooks.com, with all new content, including his new blog, “Capital Fright”.
The site will also feature new print and video author talks, beginning with Dunn’s interview with best-selling novelist Lisa Scottoline.
Dunn spent years as a freelance writer, cultivating an extensive network among the military, intelligence, law enforcement and financial communities. His byline has appeared in 18 publications in four countries.
