NEW CANAAN, Conn.- London native Elan McDowell is bringing her international hair artistry experience to New Canaan where she has opened her eponymous salon, Studio Elan. No stranger to the northeast, McDowell has worked in salons from New York to Greenwich, building on her experience in Europe.
My vision for the studio is to offer a dedicated and personalized service within an intimate and calming setting, says McDowell. Ive designed a space in direct contrast to the large impersonal salons, with the loud sound systems. Not everyone wants to feel like they're at a club when having their hair done.
McDowells New Canaan studio offers a full menu of hair treatments and options, including keratin treatments, baylage highlighting, blowouts and cuts for men and women.
