NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Architects and designers are questioning whether world-renowned architect Phillip Johnson actually lived in his famous Glass House in New Canaan, according to a report by The New York Times Style Magazine.
The Glass House, which is now a museum, offers no privacy with all its glass walls and has no furniture, the Style Magazine said.
Architects believe the Glass House was a focal point of the architectural structure of the New Canaan estate, which has 49 acres and includes 14 structures, and was a weekend getaway for Glass, the report said.
