Online Photo Editing Class: 9:30 a.m. Join the librarians as they guide you through free web-based sites to help you edit your photos. New Canaan Library, 151 Main St.

Introduction to Personal Digital Archiving: 10 a.m. To preserve and share personal collections of digital photos, documents and videos, they must be managed with care. At this event, you will discuss the challenges of personal digital archiving and some considerations for planning your own personal archiving project. The next event will be held at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 28. New Canaan Library, 151 Main St.

Opening Reception For New Exhibits: 2 to 4 p.m. New exhibits open with work by Sharon Cavagnolo's "New Paradigms;" Mary Jo McGonagle's "(Dis)connect;" Anca Pedvisocar's "Take 2;" and a Guild Group Show called "The Human Touch: Five Printmakers." Silvermine Arts Center, 1037 Silvermine Road.
