Ken Furst Speaks On World Affairs: 7 p.m. New Canaan Library and Stamford-based World Affairs Forum, in conjunction with HSBC Bank USA, holds the second of two Great Decisions talks. This discussion is "Afghanistan: A First-Hand View From Kabul," led by Ken R. Furst, a past president of the World Affairs Council of Western Massachusetts who currently serves on the Board of Directors of the World Affairs Councils of America and on the board of the New England Public Radio Foundation. Another Blank Space at Heather Gaudio Fine Art: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Heather Gaudio Fine Art is hosting the exhibit Another Blank Space, featuring recent works by Cora Cohen, a New York artist known for paintings that draw on contemporary urban and philosophical sources.
