Monday, Sept. 23

New Works by Artist E.V. Day at The Glass House: 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. An exhibition features new work of Artist E.V. Day’s will be on view in Da Monsta gallery. All tours of the Glass House visit the exhibition so visitors can enjoy all aspects of this historic modernist icon. Tours include one-hour guided tours to 2 ½hour specialized tours focusing on art, architecture and landscape. Cost is $30 to $250. The Glass House, 199 Elm Street.

Thursday, Sept. 26

Understanding the Changing Health Insurance Marketplace: 5:30 to 7 p.m. Learn more about Medicare, Medicaid and the Changing Health Insurance Marketplace with guest speaker Christina Crain of SWCAA. Exhibits at Silvermine Challenge the Boundaries of Perception: 1 to 5 p.m. The exhibits challenge the boundaries of perception: A group exhibition questions assumptions of what a book can be to; Amy Bilden’s tactile domestic-inspired sculptures; and the symbolically rich mixed media nature-based work of Christine Aaron.
