“Our Town” is set in the fictional town of Grover’s Corners, N.H., where the triumphs and struggles of ordinary people are witnessed in an extraordinary way. The 1938 Pulitzer Prize winning play is performed without a conventional set, and the actors mime their action without the use of props.
The director, Julie Bell Petrak, has previously directed John Steinbeck’s classic, "Of Mice and Men" on the Powerhouse Theatre Stage. She also serves as an active board member for the Town Players of New Canaan.
