All ages are welcome. Silvermine School of Art teachers Marta Kot, Karen Siegel, Megan Collins, Inez Andrucyk, Lisa Scroggins, Jon Puzzuoli and Christopher Crowe will guide children in creative mask making, clay pumpkin making and glow-in-the-dark T-shirt design and painting.
Kids will also paint a pumpkin-patch mural, join in a costume parade (though costumes are optional) and play a game in which children will create their own ghosts and pin them on a spooky tree to be painted on the wall.
For each child, there will be treats, a Halloween movie, a goody bag, and lots of Halloween art projects to bring home.
Call or register online ahead of time (silvermineart.org) so the Silvermine staff can have plenty of art supplies for each child’s projects. Tickets are $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers.
