The Gala Concert will offer a variety of student and faculty performances accompanied by a virtual art show - a backdrop of rotating images comprised of student artwork. Among the many special musical performances planned for the evening’s gala program will be the combined East, South and West Chorus singing “This Land Is Your Land” and “You’re A Grand Old Flag”; East, South and West music teachers Barry Zhou, Michael Messina and Monica Fitzgerald performing their rendition of the Cyndi Lauper song “True Colors”; The NCPS Strings Faculty Quartet performing Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and more.

“In past years we have used the VPA Celebration of the Arts theme to promote end-of-year student exhibitions and performances," Alan Sneath, Director of Visual and Performing Arts said in a statement. "This year we noticed the students’ awareness of the community’s support for the Saxe Renovation Project and recognized that many students were interested in contributing in some way."

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.

New Canaan High School is located at 11 Farm Rd.
