Bella’s Way Equine Rescue will be there to teach people how to adopt and rescue abandoned horses, according to a statement from the group.
The Stamford-based organization is dedicated to saving horses that are neglected, abandoned, abused or at risk to being sent to slaughter, the statement said. Bella’s also evaluates each horse with recommended needs, allowing them to be adopted into a proper forever home, the group said.
“We welcome Bella’s Way Equine Rescue to educate our animal loving clientele on horse rescue,” Shirleen Dubuque, owner of Village Critter Outfitter, said in the statement. “Many of our clients have experience in horse and dog and cat care. We thought it would be a great opportunity to learn about the wonderful work this horse rescue does.”
