New Canaan Library Screens Food Waste Documentary 'Just Eat It'

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The New Canaan Library will screen "Just Eat It" as part of its documentary film festival Friday.

"Just Eat It" documents the issue of food waste and how nearly 50 percent of food gets thrown into the trash. In "Just Eat It," the filmmakers quit grocery shopping and subsist solely on foods that would be thrown away.

The screening takes place at 6:30 p.m. in the Adrian Lamb Room.
