NEW CANAAN, Conn. The life and legacy of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. will be celebrated Monday at a special interfaith service at the United Methodist Church.
The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the church, located at 165 South Ave. The Rev. Paul Gilmore of the New Canaan First Presbyterian Church will give the keynote address. The Serendipity Chorale will provide music for the event.
Visitors may bring donations of food or cash. Monetary donations will go to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County. Canned foods will be given to the New Canaan Food Pantry.
