NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Brooklyn-based musician Carlos Pavan will perform a free guitar recital in the Adrian Lamb Room at the New Canaan Library on Saturday, Feb. 13.
Pavan is a new wave of guitar composers with a mix of tradition and influences. Versatile and original, he blends folkloric rhythms from his native Argentina with New York jazz harmonies and classical technique/forms.
The recital will feature Pavan's contemporary original pieces and Argentine tango/folklore traditional composers.
The performance is part of the library's Notes in Midwinter Concert Series.
The recital begins at 1 p.m.
