Bestselling Author Dan Brown To Appear In New Canaan Via Live Stream

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Excited about the new book from international bestselling author Dan Brown? You can see him almost in person at the New Canaan Library.

The event -- “An Evening of Codes, Symbols and Secrets” -- will begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the library's Adrian Lamb Room as part of the Authors on Stage program. 

The library, in conjunction with Doubleday Books, will show a live stream of Brown at Lincoln Center. This is the author’s only public appearance scheduled at this time. 

Brown will speak about his newest novel, "Inferno," which was released Tuesday, as well as some of the topics that figure in his novels: science, religion and codes. Other areas he will discuss include book publishing, movie making, and a few surprises. 

He gained fame for writing the controversial books "The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons."
