NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The New Canaan Chamber of Commerce has launched its updated website, complete with new functionality.
The website has multiple features that allow New Canaan residents and visitors learn more about what the chamber member businesses have to offer. Each member has a listing that has the potential to outline a business profile along with contact information and social media links.
Member businesses are encouraged to “claim” their existing listing so they can enhance their profile with unique copy, photos, graphics and logos.
When browsing the Membership Directory prospective customers will notice that many businesses have special designations to highlight which Chamber Events they have participated in and sponsored over the past year. These “Badges” let residents know which local business go the extra mile to support the Community.
Directly from the homepage, residents will be able to open up the Community Calendar to see all the events that Member Businesses and local service organizations are planning. Any Chamber Member business and any New Canaan non-profit organization can input an event via the “suggest an event” button located on the community calendar page.
In addition, Any member business can post job openings for residents to search. The Chamber website also has multiple blog posts that highlight new member businesses, profiles of local merchant’s information on Chamber and community sponsored events.
