Teen, 14, Seriously Hurt In Car Vs. Pedestrian Crash Released From Hospital: Police A 14-year-old who was hit by a car last week in Connecticut has been released from the hospital as he continues to heal from his injuries, authorities said.  A car crashed into the teen in Waterbury on Friday, Sept. 27, just before 7:15 p.m. on Watertown Avenue. Police said they were hit while walking in the roadway, but it's unclear if they were in a crosswalk.  The teen's name was not released.  A 75-year-old man, who was driving the car, and his 73-year-old female passenger were not injured in the crash, Watertown police said.  The crash remains under investigation,…

19-Year-Old Killed In 2-Vehicle CT Crash A 19-year-old Connecticut resident was killed in an early morning two-vehicle crash. The crash took place in New Haven County around 5:20 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18 in Waterbury. According to Waterbury Police Lt. Ryan Bessette, officers responded to the area of 885 Watertown Ave., and found two vehicles, with both drivers injured. One of the drivers received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
