Deaths Of Husband, Wife At Voluntown Home Was Murder-Suicide, Medical Examiner Says Days after a husband and wife were found shot to death at their Connecticut home, their deaths have been ruled a murder-suicide. The New London County incident happened Wednesday morning, June 19, at a residence in Voluntown on Hell Hollow Road. Connecticut State Police said troopers found 69-year-old Michael Zannini and 65-year-old Jacqueline Zannini both dead from gunshot wounds. Gavin Armstrong, age 20, of Voluntown, in New London County, was arrested on a warrant by the Plainfield Police in Windham County for the incident which took place in June.
