CT Man Sentenced For Racketeering, Witness Tampering A Fairfield County gang member has been sentenced to more than 24 years in prison for racketeering and witness tampering. Shakale Brantley, also known as “Charlie Wilson,” “Kellz,” and “Man Man,” age 22, of Bridgeport, was sentenced Wednesday, Jan. 26, said Leonard Boyle, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut. According to court documents and statements made in court, the FBI, ATF, DEA, U.S. Marshals Service, and Bridgeport Police have been investigating multiple Bridgeport-based gangs whose members are involved in narcotics trafficking, murder, and other acts of violence. Police Seeking Public's Help Identifying Suspects In CT Homicide Police in Fairfield County are requesting the public’s assistance in the homicide of a 22-year-old man. Benjamin Bagley, age 22, of Bridgeport, was shot, ambush-style around 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, on Union Avenue, said the Bridgeport Police. When Bridgeport officers arrived on the scene they located Bagley suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at 100 Blackstone St. He later died at Bridgeport Hospital, police said. Police Chase Of Connecticut Shooting Suspect Ends With Crash, Police Say One person was injured following a police chase involving an alleged shooter in Fairfield County. The incident took place around 8:20 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 9, when the Bridgeport Emergency Communications Center received several 911 calls and a shot spotter notification of shots fired in the area of Stratford and Union avenues.
