Update: 5 Students Injured In CT School Bus Crash This story has been updated. Five students were transported to a hospital, and 10 were evaluated for injuries following a crash involving a school bus and a truck in Connecticut. The crash occurred in West Haven around 9 a.m., Thursday, March 14 on Campbell Street near Terrace Avenue. New Haven Public Schools spokesperson Justin Harmon said the students on the bus were headed for Benjamin Jepson Magnet School. CT School Bus Driver Faces DUI Charge After Crash A Fairfield County school bus driver has been charged with putting 26 middle school students at risk when he crashed into a FedEx van. Harold Bollings, age 64, of Stratford, was arrested on Tuesday, March 1, on a warrant for the incident which took place on Wednesday, Jan. 12 in Stratford. The crash took place in the area of 3241 Main St., said Captain Frank Eannotti, of the Stratford Police. Two Injured, Including Student In CT School Bus Crash, Police Say A Fairfield County student and a school bus driver were hospitalized after the driver struck a utility pole. The crash took place around 3 p.m., Monday, Feb. 28 on Mill Plain Road in Fairfield. When officers arrived on the scene they found a small First Student school bus from Tomlinson Middle School, had struck a utility pole, said Sgt. Michael Stahl, of the Fairfield Police.  The driver of the bus sustained non-life-threatening injuries and a student complaining of stomach pain were both transported to an area hospital, Stahl said. CT Man Dies In Crash With School Bus Carrying Dozens Of Children A motorcyclist from Connecticut died after crashing into a school bus filled with kids near the Massachusetts border. Massachusetts State Police investigators were called to a crash involving a motorcyclist and school bus in Hampden County at approximately 3:30 p.m. in Wales on Wednesday, Oct. 6 near the intersection of Stafford Road and Ainsworth Hill Road.
