The identity has been released of a man who was killed after being struck by a Metro-North train in the Hudson Valley. A portion of a suspended concrete ceiling over a stairway vestibule at the Stamford Train Station collapsed, sending riders scrambling to get out of the way. A man who was killed after being struck by a train in Fairfield County has been identified. Scott James Harrington, age 59, of Riverside, a hamlet of Greenwich, was struck near the Cos Cob station by a New York-bound train around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, confirmed MTA officials. Harrington was reportedly an employee at J.P. Morgan. The train engineer was briefly hospitalized following the incident, officials said. The incident is under investigation by the MTA.

Woman Rescued After Falling Between Train, Platform At CT Train Station
A woman received minor injuries after falling between an MTA train and the platform in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Stamford around 8:10 pm., Tuesday, July 5 at the Springdale Train Station. A man has been charged with the death of a 49-year-old Fairfield County resident who was gunned down on a city street last year.
