Fire Truck Hit By Speeding Pickup At I-95 Crash Scene A fire truck was damaged when a pickup truck allegedly rammed into it on I-95 in Fairfield County as police and fire were working at an earlier crash on the highway. The incident took place in Fairfield around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12 in the southbound lanes of the highway. The Fairfield Fire Department responded to the report of a vehicle crash with injuries at Exit 21 and Mill Plain Road, said Fairfield Fire Department officials.
