Man Charged In CT Pharmacy Robbery, Police Say A 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with an alleged drugstore robbery in Fairfield County in which multiple men entered and robbed the pharmacy of drugs.  New York City resident Ishmael Henry, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 21 by the Monroe Police Department for the crime which took place on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Monroe. Four Wanted For CT Rite Aid Robbery, Police Say Four men wearing ski masks and face coverings are on the run after allegedly stealing thousands of pills at a Fairfield County Rite Aid store. The incident took place in Monroe around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 13 at the Rite Aid Pharmacy located at 508 Monroe Turnpike. The men ordered employees to open the safe where narcotics are stored. CT Man Charged With Sexual Abuse Of Child, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been charged with numerous counts of allegedly sexually abusing a child over a time period of more than five years. Fernando Cachina, age 86, of Monroe, was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 16, for 19 counts of sexual assault charges.  In April, the Monroe Police Department Detective Division received the report of child sexual abuse that had taken place in Monroe.  During the investigation, detectives determined the sexual abuse of the minor by Cachina had been taking place over a period of five years at his home in Monroe, according …

Teen Accused Of Sending Inappropriate Image Of CT High School Student A Fairfield County teen has been arrested for allegedly sending an inappropriate photo of a student at an area high school throughout the school. Julian Krieg, age 18, of Monroe, was arrested on Friday, Nov. 12, for his involvement in an incident at Masuk High School, said Lieutenant Stephen Corrone, of the Monroe Police. Police Units Respond To Connecticut HS After Threatening Messages Extra police are on-site at a Fairfield County high school after threatening text messages were shared with administrators. Monroe Police Lt. Stephen Corrone said the department increased its presence early Tuesday, Nov. 9 at Masuk High School as a precaution during an investigation. "School and police staff have worked collaboratively to identify the origins of the messages," Corrone said.
