Fight At Groton Park Causes Panic, Hundreds Flee, Cops Say Hundreds of Connecticut parkgoers were sent into a panic and ran after two men got into a fight, and one allegedly showed a weapon. The incident occurred in New London County around 1 p.m., Saturday, May 11, at Poquonnock Plains Park in Groton. According to Capt.
