Former CT Police Officer Who Enjoyed Stargazing With A Cigar Dies At 67 A former Connecticut police officer who loved law enforcement and stargazing with a cigar has died at the age of 67. New Haven County resident Thomas K. Richard, of Ansonia,  died on Friday, Jan. 12, according to his obituary.
