Sahvone Valentine, of Hartford, was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 12, for his involvement in the homicide of Abdul-Jalil Humphrey on Friday, July 14, in New Haven County on Hodge Avenue in Ansonia.  The arrest of Valentine was the result of a multi-agency investigation where a second suspect, Jada Artis, age 17 of Ansonia, was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 3, said Lt. Wrong-Way Driver Causes CT Crash, Multiple Injuries Reported Multiple people were injured when a driver drove in the wrong direction on Route 8 in Fairfield County causing a five-vehicle pileup.  The crash took place in Bridgeport just north of Exit 3 around 6:30 p.m., Sunday, July 9 on Route 8, according to the Connecticut State Police. State Police said four vehicles were traveling on Route 8 South, north of Exit 3 when a 2004 Nissan Murano SL/SE, traveling in the wrong direction, sideswiped a 2006 Volkswagen, which then caused the Nissan to lose control and sideswipe a 2017 Nissan Altima. Teen Operating Vehicle Recklessly Killed In Crash On CT Roadway, Police Say Police say a teen killed in a crash was driving a stolen vehicle in a reckless manner in Connecticut. The crash took place in New Haven County Wednesday, Nov. 9 in Derby. Derby Police said witnesses and video surveillance show the 16-year-old driving the stolen motorcycle was operating the bike on Seymour Avenue in a "reckless manner and was ejected after losing control."  The teen sustained significant injuries and was transported to Griffin Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. Authorities in New Haven County responded to the blaze in Derby at 39 Spring St. at about 5:45 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, the Derby Fire Department reported.
