Man Who Stabbed Lyft Driver In Fairfield County Nabbed Out-Of-State, Police Say A man who police have been searching for months in connection with the stabbing of a Lyft driver in Fairfield County has been captured. The incident took place on Monday, June 27 in Darien around 10:30 p.m. in the area of West Avenue. According to Darien Police, while officers were responding to a vehicle crash they were updated that a Lyft driver had been stabbed and the suspect had fled the scene with the victim's cell phone.  The victim reported picking up a customer in Stamford and while en route to a destination in Norwalk, the victim was stabbed several times shortly after …

Uninsured Motorist Nabbed After Fleeing Scene Of CT Crash, Police Say A Fairfield County man was nabbed after fleeing the scene of a crash in which he struck a pedestrian in the arm. The incident took place in Darien on Friday, Sept. 16, on West Avenue. When Darien police responded to the scene of the crash they found a pedestrian who reported that a vehicle had struck his arm while walking on the sideway and fled the scene while driving erratically, said Sgt. Two Men Arrested For Using Stolen Credit Cards At CT Businesses, Police Say Two men have been arrested for allegedly using stolen credit at numerous Fairfield County stores. Nywain Thomas, age 25, and Eric Wolf, age 22, both of Queens, New York, were arrested in Darien after officers responded to a report of two individuals possibly using fake banking cards, according to authorities.
