Drug Dealer From Stamford Busted In Norwalk Selling Cocaine Laced With Fentanyl, Police Say A Fairfield County man was busted allegedly selling cocaine laced with fentanyl to undercover agents over several months. Joshua Powell, age 30, of Stamford, was charged by Norwalk Police on Thursday, Aug. 10. During May 2023, the Special Services Division began receiving information that Powell was selling large quantities of powder and crack cocaine that contained fentanyl within the City of Norwalk, said Norwalk Police Deputy Chief Terrence Blake. The incident took place in Norwalk at 1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 2 at the Brien McMahon High School field during a game. According to Sgt. Fairfield County Man Sold Oxycodone, Suboxone To Undercover Officers, Police Say A 56-year-old Fairfield County man was arrested after police conducted an undercover sting and learned that he was selling prescription medications and narcotics paid for by Medicaid.  Anthony Spetrino, of Norwalk, reportedly sold Oxycodone, Clonazepam and Suboxone to Special Services Division members of the Norwalk Police Department during the month of May 2020.  Spetrino was arrested on Monday, Oct. 5 and charged with two felony counts of sale of narcotics, two felony counts of sale of a controlled substance and two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance.
