5 Students Injured In West Haven School Bus Crash This story has been updated. Five students were transported to a hospital, and 10 were evaluated for injuries following a crash involving a school bus and a truck in Connecticut. The crash occurred in West Haven around 9 a.m., Thursday, March 14 on Campbell Street near Terrace Avenue. New Haven Public Schools spokesperson Justin Harmon said the students on the bus were headed for Benjamin Jepson Magnet School. CT School Bus Driver Faces DUI Charge After Crash A Fairfield County school bus driver has been charged with putting 26 middle school students at risk when he crashed into a FedEx van. Harold Bollings, age 64, of Stratford, was arrested on Tuesday, March 1, on a warrant for the incident which took place on Wednesday, Jan. 12 in Stratford. The crash took place in the area of 3241 Main St., said Captain Frank Eannotti, of the Stratford Police. Two Injured, Including Student In CT School Bus Crash, Police Say A Fairfield County student and a school bus driver were hospitalized after the driver struck a utility pole. The crash took place around 3 p.m., Monday, Feb. 28 on Mill Plain Road in Fairfield. When officers arrived on the scene they found a small First Student school bus from Tomlinson Middle School, had struck a utility pole, said Sgt. Michael Stahl, of the Fairfield Police.  The driver of the bus sustained non-life-threatening injuries and a student complaining of stomach pain were both transported to an area hospital, Stahl said. Massachusetts State Police investigators were called to a crash involving a motorcyclist and school bus in Hampden County at approximately 3:30 p.m. in Wales on Wednesday, Oct. 6 near the intersection of Stafford Road and Ainsworth Hill Road. Crash Between School Bus, Motorcycle In Seymour Injures One, Police Say A crash between a school bus and a motorcycle in Connecticut resulted in minor injuries for the motorcyclist. It happened early on Thursday, May 13, in New Haven County, in Seymour, on South Main Street. As of 8:30 a.m., South Main Street remained closed at Scott Avenue. According to Seymour police, students were aboard the bus, but all "appear to be fine."  Parents have been notified and school officials are on the scene along with representatives from All-Star Transportation which operates the bus system. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Seven Students, School Bus Driver Injured In Massachusetts Crash Seven children and their bus driver were injured after crashing into a tractor-trailer in Massachusetts, police said. Officers from the Shrewsbury Police Department were dispatched to Avalon Way shortly before 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23, where there was a report of a crash involving a truck and school bus.
