The suspicious death of a 2-year-old girl following a two-car crash has Connecticut State Police asking for any witnesses to step forward. The collision took place in Middlesex County in Cromwell on Route 9 around 5:20 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11. An investigation continues after a Connecticut man allegedly poured gas on a woman and a trailer and threatened to set them on fire before holding police at bay for more than an hour. The incident took place in Middlesex County around 10:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18 at 500 Washington St., in Middletown. One person was killed in an overnight crash on a busy Connecticut roadway. It happened around 10:05 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 on southbound I-91 in Middletown. A 2015 Volvo was traveling south of the Exit 21 on-ramp in the center lane of three lanes and a Ford F-350 was traveling adjacent to the Volvo, in the right lane, Connecticut State Police said. State Police are seeking witnesses to a fatal wrong-way driver crash that killed two Connecticut women and seriously injured a man. The crash took place on Route 82 in the Middlesex County town of Haddam on Tuesday, May 31, said the Connecticut State Police. A 19-year veteran of a Connecticut police department has died at the age of 57. In New London County, Norwich Police Lt.
