Man Wanted For Shelton Stabbing, Assault Nabbed By Police A Fairfield County man who allegedly assaulted and stabbed a 35-year-old woman and then fled has been captured by police. Waterbury Man Nabbed For Assaulting Woman In Car, Police Say A 35-year-old Connecticut man is behind bars for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend in a car. The incident occurred in Westport around 1:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5 on the Sherwood Island Connector. According to Lt. Eric Woods, of the Westport Police, New Haven County resident Antonio Trusty, of Waterbury, was arrested after receiving information from his girlfriend that she was assaulted in a car and prevented from calling 911.
