Western Massachusetts Man 'Jumped,' Stabbed Multiple Times, Police Say A Western Massachusetts man was stabbed multiple times after allegedly being "jumped by four young males. The incident took place around 6:20 p.m., Monday, June 28, when the Holyoke Police received a call from Holyoke Medical Center informing them they had just received a stabbing victim in the emergency room, said Captain Matthew Moriarty. Holyoke Police officers responded to the hospital and was told the victim, a man in his 50s, suffered multiple stab wounds.  The victim reports being “jumped” by four young males.
