16-Year-Old New Haven Boy Shot To Death While Playing Basketball With Friends Police are searching for a suspect after a 16-year-old Connecticut boy was shot to death while playing basketball in the driveway of a home. The incident took place around 8:30 p.m., Monday, May 29 on Shelton Avenue in New Haven. New Haven officers responded to a report of the shooting and located Mark Mulongo, of New Haven suffering a gunshot wound, said Capt. Rose Dell, of the New Haven Police. 16 High School Students Injured In East Hartford Bus Crash, Police Say A school bus carrying 29 high school students was involved in a single-vehicle crash that injured more than a dozen. The crash took place in Hartford County around 1:20 p.m., Monday, Dec. 12 on Route 15 in East Hartford. Sixteen students, most 16, and 17 years old, from Bridgeport, received minor injuries in the crash after the driver lost control of the bus and hit a concrete barrier twice on the highway off-ramp, said the Connecticut State Police.
