Hamden Plaza: Police Increase Patrols, Improve Security For Holiday Shopping Police are stepping up patrols and surveillance for the holiday season in and around Hamden Plaza. On Wednesday, Dec. 2, Hamden Police said that, at the request of residents and Hamden Block Watch members, police have enhanced security at the shopping center. Upgraded lighting has been installed in significant areas and security cameras are in the process of being installed as well, police said.
