Police in Fairfield County are attempting to identify and locate a gray Infiniti Q70 sedan allegedly used in the abduction and robbery of a businessman at gunpoint. The incident took place in Bridgeport on Monday, Sept. 26, in the city's North End, said Det. Jeffrey Holtz, of the Bridgeport Police. The Infinity had significant damage to the rear bumper and driver's side rear quarter panel. CT Woman Dies From Injuries In Shooting Over Dog That Left Two Others Dead, Police Say
A Connecticut woman who was shot during a dispute between neighbors over a dog that left two others dead has died from her injuries. Nikia Rankins, age 27, of Hartford, died on Friday, July 1 from injuries incurred during the incident on Sunday, June 19. Rankins was found shot when police responded to a report of gunfire at a multi-family home on Franklin Avenue and located three unresponsive victims with gunshot wounds, said Lt. Police Officer's Car Struck In Milford Shooting
A police officer's car was hit by gunfire while working an off-duty job in Connecticut. The incident took place in New Haven County around 11 p.m., Tuesday, March 8 at Bowlero located at 1717 Boston Post Road, in Milford. When officers responded they recovered multiple shell casings from outside of the business, and the bullet hole in a vehicle that belongs to a Milford PD officer who works at the business during his off-hours, said the Milford Police. Two Vehicles Damaged By Gunfire On CT Highway, Police Report
Police are investigating after two vehicles were damaged by gunfire while traveling on a Connecticut highway. At about 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 13, two drivers stopped at separate locations to report that their vehicles had been damaged while they were traveling on Interstate 91 south Middlesex County, near Exit 20 in Middletown, Connecticut State Police said. A drive-by shooting in Western Massachusetts, the second in several days, caused extensive damage to the victim's home and vehicle. The incident took place in Hampden County around midnight on Wednesday, Aug. 18, in Holyoke. Officers responded to Homestead Avenue for reported shots fired, Holyoke PD Captain Matthew Moriarty said. Duo Charged After Shots Fired Following Altercation In Meriden
Two Connecticut men were arrested after an altercation outside a nightclub led to gunfire. Richard Ortiz, age 44, and Anthony Terrence Pooser, age 36, both of Meriden, were arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 13, after Meriden police responded to a call for shots fired. Their arrests stemmed from an investigation conducted into an altercation that took place outside of the One Twelve Lounge located at 278 W. A 31-year-old man injured by gunfire sought medical treatment at an area hospital. A 21-year-old man was brought to a hospital with a gunshot wound to his stomach on Thursday, Dec. 3, according to police. The man was shot before 4:12 a.m. on Thursday while walking on Ella T.
